Jesse’s House is a new 16-bedroom Home Away From Home located on the grounds of Nanaimo Regional General Hospital in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
For nearly 100 years, Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island has supported Island kids and youth with complex health needs. Thanks to the generous support of donors, we work to reduce barriers to health care access for Island families through our Homes Away From Home and Bear Essentials programs.
This home will be our third Home Away From Home and will provide safe, welcoming accommodations for Island families travelling to Nanaimo for their children's health care. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we are ensuring kids can access the support they need—today and for generations to come.
